ReplyDeleteWe love beans at our house!
ReplyDeleteOne time when I was visiting Mexico (before Mexican husband even), I ate a dessert made with black beans. It was super delicious but my Northern Mexican husband doesn't know what I'm talking about and I ate the dish while in Southern Mexico. Have you ever heard of a sweet dish made with black beans? It was almost like a bean soup but sweet.
OOOhhh, no...I haven't ever tried anything like that. It sounds good, though. I made some bean candies for the new year, but those used pinto's...though I imagine any type would work. But that doesn't help with the "soupy" aspect. Hmmm. If I come across anything, I will let you know! =)
ReplyDeleteTerrific Round-up Heather! Love the variety. So many great ideas. Thanks for including my pasta dish, it's so fun to be a part of this fabulous event again.
