Today I'm sharing a recipe for a sweet potato side dish that is infused with a bit of garam masala (an Indian spice blend) and the intoxicating smell and flavor of brown butter. Just the words "brown butter" are enough to cause me to swoon a little.
These sweet potatoes are actually combined with Yukon Gold potatoes, which helps to create an entirely different take on the sugar and marshmallow laden sweet potatoes of my childhood Thanksgivings. They're the perfect addition to your fall or winter table, be it a holiday or not.
